WMC Partners with UMDE to Serve Community
The Western Maryland Consortium values building relationships and integrating services that support the community. Through our partnership with the University of Maryland Digital Extension team, we’ve worked together to align with the goals of the Recovery Friendly Workplace program.
This collaboration has helped connect individuals in recovery with workforce services and local Recovery Friendly Workplaces. By providing Chromebooks, we’ve empowered community members to search for jobs, explore career opportunities, and access technology—critical steps for personal and professional growth. A special thanks to our partners at USDE, Brooke’s House, Lasting Change, and most importantly, our clients, for helping make this initiative a success.
